Twang and reverb comes back to Denver Feb. 27!
Once again, the great Redline Rockets rockabilly band will play a set, and then the Royal Aces will bring our Link Wray/twisted surf extravaganza to the stage, at: The Club Corner, 6551 W. 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge. Hostilities..er...I mean FESTIVITIES...commence at 9 pm.
If any of you fine TDPRI folks could not make it last time, I hope you'll stop by for a set or two. Heck, I can even give you a fine two-for-one drink ticket! How's that for an exciting offer? |

And the gear for the night...
Forgot to mention: I will be proudly using a Rob DiStefano Strat through a Phat Tele 2x10 Bandmaster Reverb amp, along with a 1x12 Music Man...and the mandatory Fender Reverb unit, of course!

Thanks!
Thanks for coming out Friday night. I got so wrapped up in talking music and gear with you that I never slipped you your cool coupons! You should have interrupted me and said "Yeah, that's all very interesting, but how about the two for one...!?"
Thanks again... |

Ain't no thang, the waitress bought me a beer or two anyway. Great music Friday night thanks to you and the Rockets. No cover charge more than made up for itself in beer, I am always on the lookout for good and inexpensive music and you all delivered! Good job on Miserlou and let me know of the next gig, I can bring my camera gear. The Strat sounded great although it could've come up in the mix a tad...

Input appreciated!
Since I'm still making that transition from blues to surf, I can use those observations. (And, as of right now, we're supposed to be back there at Club Corner with the Rockets again on March 27 - we will play first that night and then turn it over to the rockabilly boys)

Oops! Couldn't make it...Next time for sure.I've seen the Aces a couple of times before, and they're worth checking out.Seeing a real live instro/surf band hereabouts is waking up my inner Nokie Edwards, although I am having sick twisted thoughts about how a little PSG might fit into some of those tunes.

Doing it again on March 27
Hey there, Casadyrocks, and everyone in Colorado...
The big twang comes back to Club Corner, 6551 W. 44th in Wheat Ridge, at 9 pm on Friday March 27. The Royal Aces will do two sets, opening for the rockabilly masters, The Redline Rockets. And....free admission. |
