Minnesota ASAT and Tele dealer in 80's/90's???

Bremmer Music??

I recall-- they being a big advocate of the earlier G&L ASAT/Broadcasters, B-Benders-- Tele-centered guitars.
I called a couple times.

WHat happened to 'em??

I remember hanging out at Tom Bremer's shop in Savage all the time in the early 90's. He was quite the character. He had one of Roy Buchanan's Teles in there once and I got to play it. He also had a couple of Reb Beach's Kitty Hawk amps in for repair. It was a really fun place to hang out and shoot the breeze.

I have no idea what happened to him though, sorry.

Was he a player of name at one time??

I forgot about the pedal steels. He was a pretty good player. He had a regional hit playing bass in a band. It was more of a novelty song, something about walleye fishing. (Hey, it's Minnesota after all)

I remember buying a ton of EMG pickups from him. And Joe Bardens. But every time I'd buy Bardens he'd end up calling a few days later wanting to buy them back. Those pickups were in high demand back then and Joe wasn't producing too many. I don't think I had a set of Bardens for more than a week.
