If it is, I like what he's doing now more than I did his/their music.

But that's just me.

You gotta admit though - very sweet looking guitar.

Cheers,
Geoff

It's here!!!

here's the email I sent Ian after pickin' on it 2 1/2 hrs

"man I waited around this morning as long as I could before I had to go eat lunch with my son... about 10 minutes after I left my brother called & said the guitar had come...
so I spent the next few hours thinking about it...
well the pics DON'T do it justice...I truly think it is the prettiest guitar I've ever seen...it arrived in perfect shape!
lightwieght & exstremly resonant!
plays very easy! balances perfectly on my knee while I'm playing, so much better than the lp's I've played!
love the neck on it ,it "fits" just right...
been playing it now for a couple of hours & ain't no signs of fatigue at all!
the top is so 3D looking I can't get over it...I dig the tortoise shell control covers ,nice touch!
the zebras really do add a contrast that I dig mucho! gives it a more "finished" look! love the grain in this top, so much character!
man o man I really truly LOVE the color!
so glad we went with the darker "rust" burst color over the cherry...it is so cool!
understated, yet it stands out from other colors I've seen , excelent...it knocks me over, very pretty (in a manly way ;^)
the guitar is very lively acousticly, really vibrates in your hands ...love that feeling!
the pickups are very well balanced...neck pup isn't overly bassy, or dark or "boomy" like on most bucker type guitars I've played...bridge isn't grit your teeth bright either...
they really are some of the best I've heard, sound perfect with this guitar!... guy from TGP pm'd me a few days ago, said he'd been working with you on the pups for my guitar... said ya'll really had them dailed in for my guitar ...he weren't kiddin' ;^)...neither pup overpowers the other...very well balanced indeed...
you can really hear each note in the chord your playing...when playing at lower volumes it has a really sweet shimmer...crank the volume & it gets RAUNCHY as hell! it'll KICK some major booty ( I hit the "overdose" pedal on my RX Jr & this thang will hold a note FOREVER!!! )
well to say I'm extremely happy with everthing about this guitar is an understatement!
it FREAKING ROCKS!!!
so glad I caught you when I did, & got in on getting this guitar... sounds cliche ,but this IS my desert island guitar!!!"
