This was always my favorite JB Band. Even Beck said he broke them up way too soon.

When they played Cobo Hall in Detroit Stevie Wonder opened up for them. The stage was dark, Stevies band walked on stage and we heard the strangest of sounds. The lights came up and Stevie was playing "the Bagpipe" ... the voicebox through his keyboard.

When Beck returned to town on his following tour he had a "bagpipe" just like Stevies. A few years later Peter Frampton hit the big time with his voicebox and no ones touched it since.

Stevie's still using his! Played it quite a bit on his last tour.

Cheers,
Geoff
