sounds like her (as do ALL IPOD commercials these days... the quirky voxed female seems to be a successful combo with the apple products) but the band is called the chairlifts and the song is called "bruises"

Totally! What year was it? '82? '83? I was living amongst the hippies in Ithaca, NY ... one of my roommates was a guy named Guy ... we sang that song and danced like crazy with the hippy girls all summer.

It sounds like a LOT of new music these days, in that if you played it for me and told me it was from a new Children's album I would not have a hard time believing it.

I believe we have a new musical "superstition".....If your bands song is featured in an Ipod commercial , You will end up a one-hit-wonder.

A couple of my former band mates play with Feist and are loving it. I guess I wasn't standing on the pier when that ship sailed!

She's not exactly my thing I guess, but I gotta respect her success.
