TDPRI appreciation

I've been hanging out here for about a year. I've learned a lot and had a lot of fun cutting up with everybody and I've even got to "meet" a couple of my guitar heros though posts. I thought it would be a good idea start a thread were we can all say thanks to Paul for keeping this thing going and let all the members here who are always so helpful answering questions we appreciate. So thanks guys and gals for giving me a great place to hang out, putting up with my boarderline sense of humor, and giving me so much great information.

As the Duly Appointed representative of all that is good about the TDPRI, let me say this: You're welcome!

Jeeze, I need to get this prescription changed, the pills aren't working anymore...

Cheers, Tim

ps- all joking aside, yep, this place rocks!

I'm a fan-boy...don't mind admitting it....I'll just add my thanks to Paul and the boys and remind everyone, especially the newer guys that we are approaching the time for US to SHOW some appreciation for this great site in the upcoming fund-raisier.

Usually great give-aways (which I won't win), plus it helps keep this place cookin!

Pats on the back don't pay the bills folks! ;)

I find it sad my previous point/message gets ignored. Skip a set of strings once in a while and send these folks some coin, y'all.

Or just pay Paul's ISP bill, a set of string should cover several hours pretty much.

OK, I am Done [for now] peace fellow TDPRIers

That's the thing that's kept me coming back to this board. It's not the Telecaster so much as it is the people that choose to play them. It's a non-B.S. guitar for non-B.S. people. And when you ask about anything at all, you're getting the opinions of good people that choose to play Telecasters - even if you're asking about lawn mowers, or whatever.

That's also why I hang mostly in the Bad Dog section. I can only talk about Tele so much. I'm not a real nuts and bolts kinda guy.

God bless ya Paul, and mods....

Yes! This is a really good place to hang out, great folks and super helpful with everything from treatments for dried out fingers to how to refinish yo neck. Thanks big time from me! Oh, and where else ya gonna go to hang with the "Don Juan"! That alone is a good reason for being here, sigh.

Yep, Paul and the Mod Gang put in a lot of work on this forum, demonstrating a tremendous patience wth us in the process. This place is all the better for their efforts. In fact, I think the whole community works together to make the TDPRI such a good place; that's one of the reasons it is a community.

Yes, yes, thanks Paul and all the guys for your work and considerable patience from another noob. (Paul - donation sent ... sorry it's not much, but I'm tryin' to do my part!)

And, thank you to everyone in the TDPRI community for your support and welcoming arms, this is truly the most civil forum I've encountered.

Add me to the list. I've not been a member long. It seemed like every time I searched a question about my guitars TDPRI was in the hit list. After seeing it so many time I thought why not check this place out a little more.

Within a couple of days I was hooked.

My wife gets tired of hearing me talk guitars but you guys don't seem to mind at all.

Thanks for such a great place to hang out.

Another BIG thanks to/for the TDPRI. I've been modding guitars since I was in high school, but I've learned more here in the past 8+ months than in the past 30 years.

I've been wondering why I enjoy this place so much, and Trag called it perfectly. I don't post nearly as much as some others do but I am a voracious reader and have learned much from this page over the years I've been following it.

I try to support the board advertisers and have gotten a couple of cool t-shirts to boot.
Thanks to Paul for running probably the most civilized - and interesting - discussion forum on the 'Net.

+1 on all the good stuff. I have learned so much from this place, and some of it has been about Telecasters too. Seriously, I have learned an immeasurable amount about guitars of all kinds, amps, strings, theory, technique etc. I have also been turned on to some of the best musicians I have ever heard solely because of TDPRI members' recommendations (e.g., Redd, Kirchen, Gatton, Junior Brown and so many more). For people who appreciate an online Telecaster, and other guitar resource, this place is the best.

Thank you to the powers that be for keeping this thing going.

Another hearty thanks!! This is the only forum that I am a part of. I have looked at others and want no part of them. Here people are most often cordial and affirming. Thanks Paul and all moderators for a positive experience.
