Debbie doesn't quite look like that anymore.
...of course, I don't look quite like I did in 1980, either! Cheers, Tim

Top notch new wave.
Parallel lines is still a great album.

Clem Burke was the drummer not guitar player. And he did kick butt--when I saw them he definitely made an impression on me, and I don't typically notice the drummer.
Blondie was a very good band IMO. They were able to pull of a variety of material in a very sophisticated way. I guess Chris Stein was the prime visionary of the group. And yes Debbie Harry was special.

I remember my usually-jealous girlfriend of the day buying me Blondie LPs because she thought I loved the music so much. She only knew half the reason I loved them.

I got some freebies to the London Motor show gigs a couple of weeks ago and Blondie were excellent, for a woman in her sixties she still looked and sounded great.
Clem Burke’s contribution to the band was stunning, what a great Drummer he is. Also saw Alice Cooper a couple of days previous, another great show from someone still giging in his 60’s Stax |

Sorry, I really don't think so. Emmylou is the perfect example of a remarkable lady actually improving over time, which is rare. Debbie Harry appears to have Iggy Pop covered in the overcooked department, and that is saying a lot. Ya'lls sweet hearts notwithstanding.
