Paul Westerberg releases a one-track $.49 mp3

Anyone download the latest effort from Paul Westerberg (former Replacements frontman) called "49:00"? Amazon is offering the download for $.49, and it consists of about 20 songs cobbled together on one long, 43-minute track. It has some of his best songs since the days of the Mats, if you are a Replacements fan you can't go wrong for the price.

I downloaded it. I think it's great!

I have always been inspired by his work - with the 'mats and solo.

Thanks for that info! I was already exited to read in Vintage Guitar about their first few albums being re-issued whith bonus tracks. Today is a very good day.

Thanks for the tip -- I'll have to get it later. Amazon considers this track an ALBUM, and they won't let you download an ALBUM if you're using Windows ME.

Go figger...

Oh wait, this worked out -- I was able to buy it from TuneCore! Apparently, they don't mind that I use Windows ME...

I've listened to it a few times, each time I catch something I missed before, and each time it becomes fuller and more cohesive. It is pure Paul Westerberg and it is absolutely fanstastic.
