another Relic thread...sort of

I spotted this little beauty on the weekend...I thought it looked wicked
I love the way the guy has reliced the paint and put just the right amount
of chrome on it....the interior sported new leather but everything else was
a lovely shade of rust....Im guessing it's late 40's....Rat Rod sweetness

I like the late fifties caddy tail pipes.
I think theres a little customization going on in the rear.

Well, ROADMAN is in Canada, not in the US, but still... the suspension must be pretty stiff, or it will leave nice sparks wherever it runs, lol. Hmm... maybe that was the point?

You couldn't drive that car in England. There are so many speed-bumps that anything lower than a 12inch ground clearance is now officially classed as a boat and driving above 10mph is a hanging offence.

I'm totally against it !!

I think you should get a brand new shiny car and let nature take it's course

why in the world would anyone want an artificially "aged" paint job on a car - even if it makes it look exceptionally "cool" ??

If you want dents in your car, you gotta do it yourself !!

heresy , I say, heresy !!

If you don't know the fen land is flat, flat, flat and not very hilly for hundreds of miles in all directions.

FatmanStratman is the mountain rescue co-ordinator .......

The Fens are a large area, but I don't think there is any point in Britain from which you can travel "hundreds of miles in all directions" without getting your feet wet.

No, you don't quite get it... True, you can't literally travel more than a few hundred miles in any one direction, but when Big John leaves the pub he can "travel" (read: stagger) quite a long way in all directions before finally making it to his house right next door...

Hic *

I love you maaaaaate !!

Your my beshtest maaate

And as for you Latham ...... it might only be 40 miles to Kings Lynn from Peterborough but the 'Wisbech effect' takes hold and it seems like 400 miles and at least 150 years backwards !!, that's 'cos it's so flat and then even flatter than that, it's so flat it's nearly convex -- honest !!
