Marjorie Thompson

I had the extreme pleasure of attending a performance by Marjorie Thompson last night at The Cook Shack in Union Grove, North Carolina. (just down the road from Fiddler's Grove, NC......of course) She had the amazing Greg Franklin keepin' it steady on bass

Marjorie is an amazing fingerpicker, has a voice that can handle Angelic to Sultry and everything in between, and man can she write a song! She also did a cover of She Loves You (ooooooohhh!!) last night that just blew me away....'twas a very unique interpretation.

I bought one of her CD's, "Right Behind Me" at the gig and it made my 2 hour ride home much easier....great stuff

If she comes near your town, I highly recommend you go see (hear) her.

FYI....Her website is mosugarmusic.com

Cool. I know Marjorie very well. Well, not very well. But you know what I mean.

Yeah, there's a lot of talent in that little lady. She's teaching a songwriting class next yeat at Fur Peace.

Oh, and she was featured in a filmmed segment on Oprah a few months ago too.
