Building World's Largest Guitar on HDTV
For those that have HDTV the Discovery Channel is showing an episode of BIG where they build the world's largest guitar. A guy over on the Gear Page posted saying he was a consultant on that episode. Seymour Duncan made the world's largest pickup for it and Peter Frampton played it! It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen! The show itself is a bit corny but it was cool to see (and hear!) this guitar actually play! It was 9 times bigger than a regular guitar. They even made a pick and a slide! The strings were piano wire. To me the coolest part was the tuners they made for it...you have to see this to believe it! It's on again (here on the East Coast anyway) at 1am on DiscoveryHD.
