Howdy,

Recently it's been in the news that Rolling Stone Ron Wood has seemingly run off with a teen-aged girl! With thier latest mega-tour behind him I'd hope that "Woody" could put some distance between himself and Keith Richards and beat his alcohol addiction.
Jo Wood made a comment that puts things in a startling perspective, though this is not a direct quote: "Ron has a 28-inch waist and consumes 2 bottles of Vodka a day". Yikes.
I hope Woody can clean up. I'd like to see him live past age 65. Anyone else?

I just read that in the paper. I don't believe any of this crap. The Stones have been playing the media for years, playing up their bad boy image. This may or may not be true. I don't care. Pure tabloid garbage, has nothing to do with their music.

Over the years I've come to realize that 90% of the Stones image is pure fairy-tale fiction...

Actually it sounds like Ronnie to me. I hope it's all crap, but it looks like Jo has been talking to try and get Ronnie back on the straight and narrow.
There's nothing on the horizon for the Stones right now, and that's when Ronnie usually goes off the deep end.
When he gets bored and isn't playing he often falls back into addiction.
It's really sad and I wish him the best.

The amount of coverage in the press for the past week, would indicate theres something solid behind this.

Various amounts of Vodka quoted, but disturbingly, its always a number of botles. Hope he can climb back from this.

OFFICIAL ! It was on the news this morning that Jo has officially applied for a legal separation and refuses to have any future contact with him.
He is as stupid as he looks obviously !

Last time Ronnie was drinking heavily his Doctors warned him his Liver was
at the point of expiring within months. It had swelled up so much. If he
has returned to his old ways it will only be a matter of time unfortunately.

Too much Money & Time on his hands is a bad combination.
