Pot holes!!!

With the long cold winter and now the amount of rain we've been getting, the roads here are really falling apart. A hole opened up on my street sometime in the last day or two and I nailed it on the Triumph, almost spit me off. Hit it so hard it stalled the bike. Never had "bump" stall a bike before.
Some of the roads are really becoming unsafe.

Our infrastructure is falling apart. Bridges collapsing, water pipes leaking, roads in disrepair, the bill will not come cheap.

I dont want to risk getting "political" here...so Ill just go ahead and agree that we have a problem without pointing any fingers.
Im a member of LIUNA..Laborers International Union of North America....I was a Pipelayer for 5 years before being injured. ALL jobs I worked on were federally funded..and I know quite a bit about misappropriation of funds. I also know a lot about the pipes that bring you water...how old they are...what they are made of..and how they are not replaced when they should be.

Same here in Vermont! Has been bad but got even worse this year
They closed a bridge on a secondary road, which they know has been bad for
at least 10 yrs, which makes me take the interstate. Doesn't affect mileage but I have to drive with folks "Drafting" Nascar style over 80mph while on their
cell phones. If I ride my Harley I go over the back of the mountain, changes from 7miles to 17 miles. Sure am glad I put on a set of Metzlers cause my
Dunlops would've Dunpopped! plus the handle better for avoiding those econo
box swallowing pot holes.
