Hey guys, I just ate a fairly large bowl of homemade candied yams. This could get a bit 'earthy' around here... I can already feel the 'pot boiling'....

I highly recommend it to anyone.

Hey sorry I'm late guys...looks like I missed quite a bit.

Anyone have a tuner?....No...that's ok, let me just turn this here amp up a bit so I can hear the intonation...does that sound in tune to you? Let me try harmonics instead.....oops sorry for the feedback...to much reverb. :P

Just so I could say this...

"You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll kiss 3 bucks good-bye!"

Now I'll be going back to sleep.

Nudge me when John gets back with the beer.

time for some food! Cooked Cabbage Boys!

I'd add some side meat or a rasher of bacon...

this along with the beer will keep the cabin warm all night!

Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon canola oil
8 cups shredded green cabbage (about 1 normal-sized head)
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
3-4 garlic cloves, minced (I use 4)
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
salt
fresh ground black pepper
Directions
1In a large skillet, heat butter and oil over medium heat; add cabbage, garlic and brown sugar to pan.
2Sauté until the cabbage is limp, about 5 minutes or so.
3Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in vinegar.
4Cook, stirring very often, for approximately 20 minutes; taste and if cabbage is too crunchy for you, continue to cook for a few more minutes.
5Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
