Is it possible to find short scale necks like on Squier Minis (~19" to 22.75")? Does any company make these or would they make one custom?

A Squire mini costs less than a C-note. Why don't you just buy one and scrap it for the neck?

My 7 yr old son has a Squire mini-strat, and I'm here to testify, it's a REALLY good neck! Actually, the entire guitar is quite nice.
