Opening for Bill Kirchen in Charlotte
just got the word this morning that my roots trio, Lunatic Fringe, snagged the opening spot for the Kirchen show this Thursday. an all-Tele bill!
needless to say i'm honored, but you can imagine i'll be putting in some extra practice time this week. anybody know who he's touring with these days? i heard Johnny and Jack weren't with him any more, but i did hear from the promoter he was playing as a trio.

Jack's back, and his bass player is Claude Arthur.
You're gonna have, dare I say it, too much fun! Bill's pretty much the nicest guy in the world, and of course, he's as funny as he is an amazing performer. Tell him Tim Armstrong says howdy! Cheers, Tim

Woody, is this Tom and the drummer you had at Redbone Willy's?
I'm going out on a limb here guys, and say that if it is, a finer band I don't think you'll see. These guys had fun the whole time they played, the drummer (sorry I've forgotten his name) actually raised my opinion of drummers in general...lol. Tom takes bass playing to another level, I still remember the Pink Panther tune. What can you say about Woody playing the Woodcaster. I can't wait to see the show.

He had Jack and Claude with him when we played with him - Claude is absolutely amazing (Jack is too, of course!) and you're going to have a BLAST, my friend!
