A new 'beat combo' from Liverpool

Fierce, near distorted twang on the guitar, massive harmonies, if only McCartney had kept to 'root and fifth' i can almost hear Dwight doing a cover version !

Seriously, maybe it's the pending 'geezerhood' but i have been checking my 'back pages' and found this and i think it is wonderful ..............

Then i found this, i have never seen it before it must be a very, very, very early forerunner to the modern day music video, can't imagine someone saying "right guy's stand around in this garden and mime, in 40 years time they'll love it" ...........

It's difficult seeing Lennon so much younger than i am now .......

Don't count the Ruttles out. They're still lurking in the shadows waiting for their chance to take over . . . oh wait, no they're not.

After The Beatles were on Ed Sullivan in 1964 Sunday night the next day Monday at school was total bedlam. All the kids could talk about was The Beatles.

It was so bad the teachers couldnt even teach so the Principal came on the PA system and said we need to have an assembly.

I will never forget this all the kids in school were in the assembly hall and the principal gave a big speech about how these are just a bunch of long haired kids from England and in a couple weeks a new group will pop up and take their place.

Boy was he wrong!! LOL

We will never see anything even close to as good as The Beatles were ever again.

Its inpossible to explain to people who werent around in the mid to late 60's how all this went down.

The Beattles actually changed the whole world how we looked how we dressed no other group has ever done that or ever will again.

I watched A Hard Days Night a couple of weeks ago and thought, man they look like a bunch of kids. Guess it cause they were.

I was interesting seeing Harrison with the SG. That's not a guitar I would usually associate with him.

Cool stuff - thanks for posting.
