Rush at Red Rocks

I am at the end of my stay here in Colorado and was lucky enough to have my co-workers here offer to take me to see Rush in concert last night at Red Rocks

An excellent show at an excellent venue, if anyone ever gets the chance to go to a concert at Red Rocks I strongly recommend it.

Got a great seat in the planter box of row 21 right next to the beer vendor and moseyed down to row 3 for the finale

What a way to end my stay

Two of my former roomies went to see Rush at the Gorge in George Washington park. One of them was the backstage manager of the Commodore Ballroom here.
He says "watch this", and proceeds to pull out his backstage pass from work, puts it around his neck, and pushes his way through the crowd, flashing his pass, towards the stage. He looks like he's on a mission, and the people part like the Red Sea. He makes his way to the stage, and goes up the side stairs. He stands about 15' from Alex Lifeson for a while, until someone comes and looks at his credentials. "Nazareth!?!? Get out of here!!!"

I saw Phish at redrocks...what an amazing venue...natural amphitheater. There are actually some caves and passages, which lead up to an overlook of the stage as well...little known secret

I am waiting for the next Esteban Concert. I can't wait to hear House of the Rising Sun, and 5 measures of the Malleguena.
I saw a vid of Brooks and Dunn at Red Rocks. Looks like a great place for acoustics.

I've seen more than 30 shows at Red Rocks, although regrettably, never a Rush show.

It is without a doubt, the best venue in this country for for a major live show.

I love that place, without a doubt my fave. For some reason though, I experience an odd phenomena EVERY time I have ever been there. I have never been to a show there when someone didn't approach me and ask to buy drugs. I don't know why. I've never sold any, and I've never been approached anywhere else. I guess there is just something about Red Rocks that makes me look like a dealer.

Sometime I'll regale y'all with the story of the Red Rocks show that I spent partying with two extremely large lesbians and their Gatorade job cooler that was one enormous, and ridiculously strong, margarita.

Lesbians and margaritas and Red Rocks, oh my!

Never saw a show there
Still wanna though! Plenty of other worthy bands, even if I never made it there while Jerry was still with us ...

Red Rocks

If i was a millionaire I would hop on my plane every month or so & go see a show at Red Rocks. (most millionaires have NO idea how to enjoy money). I got the Blues Traveler "Live At Red Rocks DVD". the place looks amazing. I plan to go someday.

The best place I've seen a show so far is THE GORGE in Washington state. Incredibly beautiful.

Rush is one of the 3 best concerts I've seen so far.

When I drove cross- country, my dad and I stopped there to take a look. No concert going on, but we were sure impressed nonetheless. Seeing Rush there must have been awesome!
