North Dallas Jam!!!
That's right, people.
It's time to get togeter in Dallas for another jam. We're gonna have it in the same place: The Main Street Liquid Co. on Belt Line/Main St. in Richardson. We'll have the big upstairs room, with food and cocktails available, and an ATM downstairs. It's 1/4 mile East of I-75 on the north side of the road, there'a a parking lot in back. Saturday July 12 from 4pm to 11pm. It's gonna be a great time, make your plans to attend. In order to help cover the $150 room rental costs, we are gonna ask for $10 from each guitar/bass player. We had a great time last time, and we're lookin' to do better this time. Edit: This will be a harmonica-free zone! Leave them thangs at home!

Sounds fun. I am not a very good player, but I would like to come. I will see if I can put it on the schedule.

We were talking about you the other night. We might just send someone to come and get you.

I suppose that I could. It is going to be a real busy weekend for me. Thursday night is rehearsal, Friday night I play my monthly appointment for a Dallas women's shelter. I have another band rehearsal Saturday morning. The following Sunday, I will be leading P&W in the morning, then attending a fundraising benefit at Son's Of Herman Hall for my good friend with cancer. I originally was just considering showing up with a small amp, guitar and an OD pedal.

I am so glad you've decided to make it a "Harmonica Free Zone!" Looks like we've started something here!
Remember the guys that tried to crash my Harmonica Free jam? The club owner threw them out! LOL! Warms my heart. Have a great time. If it was later in the month I might have joined you. I'll be riding another bike cross country soon.

Well, everything's in place for the jam Saturday, it's gonna be fun.
BTW - I was in a car crash last week, and I'm having lotsa back pain. All the help we can get for load in/set-up would be greatly appreciated. Also, like I said, you can order food and drink, so bring your friends, groupies, and girlfriends or wives; but please not both. We don' want any trouble.

I have rehearsal with my band tonight. We are preparing about six songs for a fundraising benefit on Sunday. Would it be out of the question if they all came to the jam and we played our set like an additional rehearsal? Would you expect them all to pitch in $10 each? There are six of us. They may be willing to contribute, but I have not even mentioned this to them yet. But if only two of them were willing, then the plan falls apart.
