Another anti-GAS move and just a few classics remain.
Hi,
It's always sad to see a truly nice guitar go, but I'll be down to a pair each of classic acoustics and electrics when my Larrivee goes later today. The Larrivee (OMV-03RE) defies it's price and has superb playability but I realized most of my playing time is with the Tele (of course), Strat, 00-18 and HD-28 and it also seemed wrong to have instruments not played. I also got rid of all but my Micro Cube and black faced amp. I suppose GAS will hit again and then I can rationalize looking for another acoustic cutaway, but right now it feels good to have less and I like the idea of no musical instruments gathering dust. The buyer lives close to me so I am sure I'll be able to see it and touch it again. I'm hoping for no seller's remorse and his being back with money today. My wife's reaction is interesting because she is more against a home full of stuff than against how I spend money. ;) |
