You get a cheap karaoke mic, a tripid boom stand and a 20' XLR for $12.99 today.

The stand and XLR and worth $50. If the mic stinks my kids can use them as play mics with my PA.

The stands are worth it just for mic'ing drums or amps.

I bought two....it was $31 with the shipping.

Not bad.

I was real tempted when I saw the price. However, I have abandoned all of my On-Stage mic stands. They keep falling over when extended and holding a mic. I literally gave them away.

I have converted over to ProLine mic stands with a heavier base. On-Stage makes some good products (keyboard, lighting, amp, speaker stands). But I just didn't care for their mic stands after 8 years of fighting with them. Beware, the ProLine stands cost $60 - considerably more.

I just ordered 2. Dang cable's probably worth $13.

Edit - Added: 6" of duct tape over one of the legs is cheaper for something that will probably never leave the attic.

Exactly. For $12, they're an excellent deal. Maybe not studio-quality stuff, but good enough for futzing around.

I added it to an order to get free shipping so it only cost me 5 bucks in the end. I will leave it my vehicles for emergencies. I bet the mic is plastic and sounds like crap but it can save your ass in a pinch.
