It's impossible to be copying Hendrix and be conisidered carrying on in his tradition. Since Jimi was an orginal one of a kind. He broke completely new ground stylically, musically, and in the studio. Listened to his studio version of Spanish Castle Magic on XM Radio tonite, and realize again that his is the definitive versions and all else are futile attempts (while they may be noble and skillful versions)... Same as if someone or group tried to carry on in the Beatles tradition. Basically it can't be done since it's all be done already.

Clerance Spadey... If you haven't heard him, check him out on myspace! Won the Handy award with his first album and is just releasing number 2 this month ( totally worth the wait!!!! IMO)...
