Jacob told me to move the island......

The season finale of Lost will be on tomorrow night.

I'll be glued to the TV from 8:00 to 10:00PM.

I'm living in fear of Juliet getting killed off the show. She's dreamy.

Move the island?????

A bunch of people got trapped on an island after a plane crash, made some "friends" on the island, and are about to get rescued. You don't want to know the rest.

What I'm wondering is what will happen to Ben, Huey, and Locke. I think there might be a gunfight or something, who knows.

I've been hooked since the first show. But I can't explain it.
Looking forward to tonight.

This is about the only show I watch these days...I have too much practicing to catch up on to spend time in front of the box!

This is a great show, though I keep hoping that the writers have a definite story and an actual ending in mind. Don't just drag it on forever.

"Son of a *****!"

I just hope they don't kill off Sawyer. Though I guess he's still a very popular character and, unlike Charlie, also a member of the "A-Team".

So, am i the only person in the whole world that doesn't like it ?

Seems to be (along with Hero's) a kind of "make it weird on purpose" air about some of these shows sort of like a cut price David Lynch.

Not knocking, i know gazillions of folk love it.

I'm with you. It's like David Lynch except without a "hidden concept" for the watcher to discover (which is the whole point of Lynch's films, and makes them great).

It feels like they make up Lost episode to episode and the only meaning behind the programme as a whole, is what the viewer deludes themself into believing, which ruins it for me completely.

I realise I hold the vastly less popular opinion, so feel free to set me straight if you know better.

Aha !, so it's not just me then ?
I always get suspicious when the press and general 'hoop la' that goes with a new show includes all the 'look out for this obscure reference to a 1969 episode of StarTrek' or how a certain characters license plate means blah blah blah.
It just seems to add to the folks who say things like "Oh, didn't you get it ?"

Popular show though.

i've been watching from the beginning. i rank Lost up there with The Prisoner.

granted there is some "weirdness" but it all has a purpose and is explained. maybe not at the time of it's inception but further in the story.

i got the 1st 4 seasons on DVD for my birthday in march . as soon as tonight is over i'll start watching the series from "scratch" because i've miised so much. AND there are supposed tobe 2 more seasons.

I'm in the "best show ever" camp.

We're ordering in pizza and watching all three hours.

You realize that this means after tonight's show that there won't be any more until Feb 2009. And, that 2009 season is the final season.

Well we know from the fast-forwards that Ben and Hurley make if off the island regardless of what confrontation they run into. Locke and Sawyer's fate remains unknown. I do believe if I read or heard this correctly that Sawyer gets into a showdown with Keamy. It seems pretty obivious that something bad hapens to the rest of the islanders... we'll see.

Sawyer stays on the island...that was in one of the flash-forwards where Kate is sneaking off doing something that "Sawyer asked her to do" when she got back the mainland. They implicate that he is back on the island and still alive.

In the very first flash forward we learned that long after the Oceanic Six were back home that:

1. There are other folks back on the island alive that need rescuing
2. Someone from the island dies in the US because Jack went to the funeral

Whom ever it is that dies. No one goes to the funeral except Jack, and when Jack says to Kate, "I thought I might see you there" Kate says, "Why would I want to go to HIS funeral?"

That was fun. I've never been a die hard fan, but the show is fantastic in the way it weaves in and out. It's an addictive show for sure. Very creative television.

I totally dig it. It's the only episodic show that I'm paying any attention to right now. Not looking forward to an 8-month break.

And there are two, 17-episode seasons to follow tonight's finale. They had contracted for 3, 16-ep. seasons to wrap it up. After the writers' strike this season was cut to 14 hours. They then agreed to add an hour to each of the last two seasons. (Please don't ban me for the correction )

I can't stand the way the show never gives you any answers. As was mentioned before, it's like they make it up week to week.
