My Daughter bought me tickets last year for Clapton. Good show. Robert Cray was a real highlight. Eric doesn't converse with the crowd much, so it's all just kind of mechanical from start to end. Not as much "fun" though, as some others. I'd like to have heard some Blind Faith, though.

Over the last thirty years I've often thought "Why does EC bother making albums?" Looks like he finally agrees with me...

going to see him in munich and wiesbaden. looking forward to it. I could do with river of tears, got to get better in a little while and let it rain, and drop wonderful tonight and cocaine , but that won't happen. Also I hope it's going to be a bit lighter on Robert johnson songs by then.

Doyle Bramhall on guitar and vocals
Chris Stainton - keyboards
Pino Palladino - bass
Ian Thomas - drums
Michelle John - backing vocals
Sharon White - backing vocals

Derek trucks is gone, which should give EC a bit more drive since he can't hide behind trucks this time around.
