I use Windows MovieMaker, 'cause that's what came with the computer.

+1

When I actually edit I use Windows MovieMaker.

I'm confused about the MP3 & MP4 question because I don't use MP3 or MP4 for video. I use MovieMaker when I edit a video and when I simply move a video to my laptop I use Quicktime if I choose not to edit anything.

Youtube has a button that lets you select a file on your computer. I just select the correct Quicktime or MovieMaker file. Up it goes.

This came off of a digital camera set to movie mode....no editing at all. Super basic.

If you wanna post something on Youtube thats on a DVD you gotta get a DVD rip program and turn it into an AVI then you just upload it no special program needed to upload.
