eBay item came with Bed Bugs.
I bought a used keyboard on eBay. It was nicely packaged in the original box.
I looked in the box when I opened it and saw some dark flecks in the bottom and didn't think of it. Later on I went to throw out the box and there were less flecks and some moved. I'm now dealing with a Bed Beg problem in my house. I'm f%#$&^% pi$$ed.

I have the most gross story:
A buddy of mine had a windchime factory and one of his workers used to sleep on an upper lever in the factory. This guy used to smoke huge reefers each night and plod on through the day. We used to jam at the factory and this guy always had these huge red weals and pits in his already ragged face. Not a pretty sight. Sometime 8 months later my buddy Brian is rearranging the factor and cleaning up. He takes me to the platform this guy has been sleeping on and says "dude this is the most disgusting thing I have seen" and lifts up the other guy's sleeping mattress. Underneath are these ghastly round brown bugs about the size of a man's thumb sluggishly moving around, on the floor, on the mattress, in the mattress. Slow why? they were filled with blood.... They were literally feeding of this guy and eating him every night and he was so whacked off his head that he just didn't know or bother, nor bother to lift the friggin' mattress.... I don't even know what they were |

Reminds me of an adventure I had many years ago with two pals. We all worked for a solar heating company installing panels. The boss informed us that no work for two weeks cause he was going to go away. We had all just got paid for the last job and each had about $300.
I had never been to Texas and was very interested in the blues culture and scene in the south so after a little discussion the three of us decide it was time for a "Blues Pilgrimage" Not to mention it was February in Maine and well any person in their right mind wants to get the hell out of here that time of year. Gassed up the Oldsmobile I had at the time and off we went. New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Nuevo Laredo and then back to New Braunfels where we pretty much ran out of money. We were out on an old red dirt country road racing Road Runners. Stopped in a field area and found some old steer skulls. Pretty cool ones with longhorns! Found 3 intact and we were putting them on the car and messing around with them taking pics and such. Decided hell lets take em back to Maine. So we put them in the trunk and started the long journey home. We had just enough money to get home and made fairly quickly driving in non stop shifts. Glenn took the skulls home and put them in his spare room. Next day I get a call from him he says "Dude you got get over and see what I found!" I walk in and he says look at this. He had a Mayo jar stuffed with about 25 scorpions. Seems they had crawled out of the skulls while they were in the nice warm house in Maine! You never know what you will carry home with something. It could have been much worse had the weather been warmer. I would have had them crawling around in my Olds! |

Did you hear that Richard Thompson got stung by a scorpion in Mexico and had to cancel several shows on his tour this spring? True story. http://www.richardthompson-music.com...day.asp?id=900 |

I'm having this funny vision of these critters jumping out of the box with a map & compass , and absailing gear while the theme tune to mission impossible plays in the background .
Then navigating their way through your house , through corridoors , up stairways etc , untill they eventually get to the bedroom and shout ' woohoo ' in delight as they sneak beneath the sheets lmao

That's really gross man. Fumigate immediately. Even if it is fleas, and not bedbugs, two fleas will turn into two million almost overnight. Get sprayed, or you'll be infested in no time flat.
When my wife and I first moved in together many years ago, we lived in a little old house in McKinney, up north of Dallas. We'd been there a few days, and as she's going to bed, she says "uh, what is THAT?" I looked, it was tick. In the bed. Removed the covers, found several more. A close inspection of the house found them pretty much all over the place. Didn't bother me too much, I mean, it's gross, but I grew up with blood sucking bugs all over the place. She FREAKED. Wouldn't sleep in the house until the exterminator cleared it completely, and even then, didn't sleep WELL for a month. Another time, I bought a used bass, from a very prominent used and vintage dealer. It was a '78 Gibson RD Artist. I took it home, re-strung it, set it up the way I liked it, played it for a few hours, and went to bed. The next morning, I look over at it in the corner, and as my eyes focus, I notice little black specs all over it, and on the wall behind it. Spiders. Little baby spiders, hundreds of 'em. Hatched in the bass's electronics cavity and were marching forth from the output jack. Jake

'graphs' is a genius apparently. I can't believe this slipped my mind before. The first place I lived here in Madrid had an ant problem, but only in my room it seemed. Sometimes I would walk into the attached bathroom and it would be like walking into a Dali painting. Once, I killed over 70 before I even got out of bed in the morning. Thankfully, I was able to move to a better place... not a single ant! lol

Terrible. just terrible. We had a horrible flea infestation once. It was concentrated in the basement. I can't fully descibe it, but here's an illustration.
I'm 12 (1985), dressed in a t-shirt, chuck taylors and white jeans. I walk out of the house through the dimly lit basement to grab my bike out of the garage. As I step out of the basement door into a bright spring day, I look down and my white jeans are black up to the thighs. I can't remember what I did next. Treat this now, and aggressively.

I worked in a Long Island music store in the late '70s that I'll leave unnamed. One day a band brought in an SVT bottom for repair. We pulled the front grille off and cockroaches came crawling out of it and immediately dispersed to the corners of the store as we all looked on in disgust.

I don't like bugs or spiders or, well, anything that crawls...even babies can freak me out sometimes. ;o)
I didn't know what a bed bug was so I googled it...you poor, poor man. That's horrible and now I'm off to wash all of our bed clothes and stare at the mattress! That's HORRIBLE! ...what can you do or say to the seller?

I saw a Dateline or something once where they showed that if you take a box cutter to your matress & expose what is going on inside, you will never sleep again. Supposedly, especially in places like hotels, most bed are completely ridden with all kinds of mites & things...sleep well!
