mozart on a tele.

last saturday i performed the music for my longest friends wedding ceremony. i performed Pachabel Cannon in d, the wedding march and the recessional. i didn't think much of it as i was extremely honored that my friend asked me to play for him. what shocked me was the overwhelming response i received from about 200 people the rest of the day. looks like i'll be doing quite a few weddings for the next couple of years. might i add..... i used my 50's classic tele and brought my 50's esquire as a backup - just in case!

Way to go, that's really cool! Especially on an electric!

The Telecaster is a great electric guitar for fingerpicking. I started off on classical and G*bson electrics. For overdrive and crunch, the Gibbie's kept me happy, but the clean sound was always lacking, IMHO.

Then I got a Tele, problem solved.

Someday I hope to build a Tele-style guitar, brass roller saddles, ashtray style bridge, with a flat neck and wide spaced strings ala classical...
