robert dunlop dies

robert dunlop was sadly killed in an accident in practice for the 250cc race at the north west 200. seems the engine on his 2-stroke machine seized, and after being thrown, was then hit by a following rider.

robert was a bike racing legend in his own right, as well as being the brother of iom tt legend joey dunlop.

the 250 race went ahead nevertheless, robert's son micheal won, and dedicated the win to his late father.

tragic weekend. here's to his family, friends, and fans.

It's very sad news indeed, his family are dedicated to the sport.
