First gig with my brother in fifteen years.
On the road for a couple of days. Same old story. Expensive gas, fast food, having fun looking for new music to listen to online.
Woke up this morning in Indianapolis. I'll play here tonite, at Sam's Saloon in Fountain Square, and then head for Streetsboro, OH tomorrow for another show. I'm really tickled about tonite. My little brother is going to do the show with me. He is the greatest guitarist I've ever heard, seen, or known, and we haven't played a show together in fifteen years. Time and miles have kept us apart. We see each other about once a year at Christmas, or a funeral, but that's been it. He lives close to here now, so during a telephone conversation I told him that all I wanted for my birthday this year was for us to do this show together. It's gonna be really cool.

I've been playing with my brother for 25 or so years now. It's great...
Used to live in Indy. I don't remember Sams, but Fountaion square has a really cool duckpin bowling alley. I think they have music sometimes. Funky old place.

My brother's an excellent drummer.....lives in Ft Collins, CO and I'm here in IN.....kind of makes a band difficult. Wish we could do it! Good luck to ya and have a ball!
I'm close to Indy....does your brother play in a local band?? |

Mr. G.S. Harper...I literally just got off a plane (I've been in Colorado for the past 11 days) and I'm going to do my very BEST to get out to see you and your brother tonight!
How crazy is it that I live in Indianapolis...you live in Cleveland...we meet up in Nashville and want to hang out with eachother in our home cities...yet when you're in Indianapolis...I've got a gig in CLEVELAND! That's just insane! How long did it take you to get from Cleveland to Indy? We'll use that information to our advantage when we make the opposite trip in the morning! I wish we could hang out longer - we're all wanting to hang out with Suzy for a bit and hang out around the Town Fryer...we were gonna be sleeping there until the Sachsenheim put us up! Suzy is the best, I wish she was here in Indy!

I seriously hope I get to see you this evening. I got here from C-town in well under five hours. Easy breezy. I have to head back tomorrow as well, I have a show in Streetsboro (about 40 minutes East of Cleveland) with Mary Cutrufello tomorrow night. If I don't see you tonite, I'll look for y'all on the highway tomorrow so's I can at least wave at ya!
