Do Colin and Paul play for The Australian Pink Floyd? I saw Aussie Floyd twice in the last year when they came through Orlando. They put on a fantastic show.

BTW, David Gilmour is my all time favorite guitar player. Very tasteful player.

David has mastered the Stratocaster tone in many ways. When I want to hear what a Strat can do, I like to listen to "Comfortably Numb". Of coarse, I realize that David has 1000 effects in his loops. But he always keeps that Strat tone entact.

That would be the two pals I was talking about. They also play in this little obscure trio called El Vato.

Imagine playing at DG's b'day party! No pressure there mate!

I will be hanging out with these two blokes in August making a new CD.

and he broke out a Blackguard Tele for "Comfortably Numb"...

I saw Roger Waters last year and his lead guitar player worked a tele the whole gig. Sounded great on all the Pink Floyd classics.

Did the Tele have a Bigsby whammy? If my memory is recalling correctly, I am sure I remember several bended notes on the recording.

I'm thinking "no Bigsby" but it *was* a Pink Floyd show and it *was* 1994...

I definitely remember him switching from the CAR Strat he used for most of the show to a Tele.

Probably a reissue. I don't think he likes to take the old stuff on the road...
