Hohner Marine band VS Blues harp
which is better? ive heard that the MS harps by hohner are machine made while the 1896 marine band is hand made, but how can that be if they are the same ball park price?
also ive been looking into the marine band deluxe has anybody had experience with those |

The Marine Band Deluxe, and Blues harp have a wood combs, I haven't tried either.
I do have a Marine Band 1896, and Special 20, both plastic combs. I like the Special 20 better.

I use the blues harps and like them fine. I'm not fancy, but I do have to play harp on a few songs and the reeds bend really nice and easy and the harps last a long time.
Lots of guys like the Lee Oskars (I got a cheap set of like 7 or so for christmas) I think the pro ones are probably awesome... he played harp for War (The world is a ghetto is killer) so, consider them too... but the blues harps are good.. the marine bands did not seem to last as long and felt 'lighter' duty... but sound fine although (and probably because I'm no expert harp player) I found the bent notes could kinda go too far and mush out.
