My wife already gives me enough grief about all the guitars tucked away under the bed and lined up next to the night table in the bedroom.
I really don't think she'd be amused with a surfboard guitar stand in the bedroom. I would! |

Your guitar wants to hang ten. Order today!
And that $24,500 guitar/amp/painting is [not] AWESOME! I should order two. I'll just sell a few organs. Or I could go down to the local middle school and get it done for free. If you combine the surfboard and the "artwork," there's no way you can lose! |

I don't know, the surfboard is pretty cool if you are very loaded. Also, it says that it's a real surfboard, they are around that price anyway. I might rather have just the board though without the mounting hardware. Here's a candidate:

A surfboard is an item of sporting equipment, not a guitar rack.
I can just imagine the marketing "suits" at Fender sipping their lattes, sitting around the eighteen foot long AAAAA curly maple boardroom table when the marketing techno-speak turns to Cool and peripheral product shortfalls - and them all getting excited about using a surfboard as a guitar rack... ...when in reality people who use surfboards as they were intended will find it as insulting as using two Fender Telecasters as a surfboard stand.

My advice if you want to buy one and can't afford one is simple ....
Just be careful to avoid the ' loan sharks '

You could probably find a deal on a used or old surfboard somewhere and build something similar for much less. I mean if I was endorsed by Fender, I would love to have a few of those around the house, but since I am not, the cheap $8 MF stands and the Warwick Rockstand I have will suffice...lol.

Sorry to be the fashion police, but couldn't they have dug up a Surf Green Strat for that board? |
