Whats up with EBay?
I,m trying to bid on a Cobra LTD cb radio.I,ve found 5 to 7 that i have bid on,and as soon as i bid somebody immediately outbids me,on all of them. How can this be?It,s very fustrating. It's like somebody watching over my shoulder.

To cut down on sniping, they added a feature where you enter your maximum bid but it is only applied in small increments. For example, if the current high bid is $1 you can create a maximum bid of $5 but your initial bid will be $1.50 or something. If someone bids $2, your next bid of $2.50 is automatically applied until it hits $5.
Hope that wasn't too confusing. |

You're going to be out bid until you bid higher than the highest bid.

actually, I totally dig the "highest bid" option. Lets me set it, and forget it! Just got a nice Gretsch snare for way lower than my limit, and no need to lurk every second of the day.

I'm just glad to see that there's still a few of us CBer's left.
10-10 on the side.
