I was going to mention this. I think it's "I'd like to say thank you on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition."

Two that stick in my mind/craw from Percy...

"Does anybody remember laughter?"

"Yayoulp!" (or whatever that indecipherable two-syllable exclamation in Rock and Roll was)

I love the begining of Red House when Jimi says "...in other words we're cookin' right, is that what you're trying to say?"
On the same song he says "well, I still got my guitar" before the solo.

"Stop"

On Out On The Tiles from Led Zeppelin III, right after the first chorus.

I'm guessing it was some kind if cue to the engineer or producer.

Totaly & then "Look out now!" followed by an amazing solo. Still one of my favorite blues songs.

Thank God someone has a memory better than mine; I do believe that's correct. Thanks, Cassady

What's up with the "Hey you!" kind of whistle during the solo in CCR's Down On The Corner?

Heres probably my all time favourite of one of the Albert King live in San Francisco albums.

It goes-

-World stopping Albert King lick-

"Uungh!" (Albert)

-World stopping Albert King lick-

"I think I got 'um"

-Even more world stopping Albert King lick-

On Mott The Hoople's " Live @ Hammersmith Odoen " during Ian Hunters scripted rap on the segueway from One Of the Boys into Violence , while the band vamps Guitarist Ariel Bender starts playing B. B. King licks , Hunter tersely says " No blues , no blues ...smart ass...Prat!"

No mention of Skynyrd live???

Gimme Three Steps has a couple great ones:

"bring all my mules out here" right before the 3 guitarists are really ripping it all together.

"I ain't gonna fight over this c#*t" after the second verse I believe

Just remembered another.....On the last album when Ronnie says "sounds like Roy" during Steve Gaines licks.

So I'm in a rinky dink music store in West Ashley SC and the clerk says to me "You know how James Brown calls out Fred, Fred"?

I say "Sure, I can hear it in my head"

He proceeds to introduce me to Fred, another customer. Fred played trombone for James Brown for many years.

On Can't Be Satisfied on the Hard Again album, Muddy Waters says to Johnny Winter half way through his solo, "You know Johnny you were good, do it again"

On one of the early Fall albums, Mark E. Smith is heard at the end telling the producers that "It sounds a bit weedy, John, err, reedy?!

On Live at the Electric Circus he starts Last Orders with "Last orders, Half past ten!!"

Roy Harper. Sophisticated Beggar. Starts an intro to a song, then stops, then says "Kier? Theres a spider walking along the mike. Its distracting me the silly little b*****d." He then resumes the song, all the while laughing and then says the Last Rites. He then plays the gentle song as if nothing has happened.

Also wasnt there an REM hit that had Michael Stipe trying to suppress a laugh as he went into a chorus?
