Well I'm just about at my TDPRI 2 yr anniversary and honestly can't say that the place has been anymore heated now than it has been in the past 2 years.

I've seen more "I don't get" and "What's the big deal with" or greivances about the rules threads a year ago. In the past two years i've also seen alot of apologies for a particular behavior that really didn't need an apology IMO. Vigorous disagreement at times but nothing nasty and for the most part differences of opinion followed up by nothing. I think we had a bad spell about two months ago but it was just a blip. No worse than other bad spells we've had.

Maybe I'm missing something?

I think the best way to do this is to do an online hook-up with everyone on the site and we can all sing:

"I'd like to teach the world to sing" then straight into "Kumbaya".

actually if you are an old geek you set all headers that include rant or burn as 'discard eligible'. The CCIE's are down with that.

31 JUST as it says under my avitar. And yes I do update. And the actual link name is http://epicninjamaneuver.ytmnd.com, seems pretty clear what it is intended to do.

The only CCIE's I know personally are in a constant state of "discard eligible"

Probably one of the biggest causes of grief are people that don't know, or are unaware of the written, and unsaid rules that exist around here that keep this place civil and friendly. Don't drop in, and on your 11th posting, start raising a stink about how you're being censored and can't talk about all the things that you like/hate. This is not the 'free world'. It is a private owned and run website forum. Everyone that joins has agreed to follow the set rules, upon joining. If you can't abide within these rules, then there's a whole other internet out there for you to explore.

To the complainants:

Read the above. Stop. Think. Reflect.

This is a real cool place to hang. Lots of wonderful folks and experiences and knowledge to share.

Just my 2 cents.
