I still can't persuade myself to actually pay money for a hardboard (masonite) guitar, though, no matter the provenance of the material.

But he later had the stock bridge replaced by a Badass "Fancy six saddle bridge" in order to improve the guitar's intonation and the stock tuners were replaced by Grovers to keep it in tune better so it's safe to say that his Dano DID have some issues...
