Just in case anyone thinks this is fake - it really happened in June 2006 in Iowa.
It is briefly mentioned on Fuzzy's own web site: http://www.fuz.com/news/articles_det..._contentid=379 |

You'd think they'd at least spell "Zoeller" correctly.
Never had an ace, but I've had full-swing 2 hole-outs from the fairway. One was a PW from 119 for eagle, the other was a 5 wood from 185 to save par after a lateral water hazard got me. I've had 3 balls bounce off the stick on #2 at my club, each one of them looked to be my chance for an ace. |

I've never gotten close to an ace.
A playing partner had one many years ago. And I was playing against someone once. His ball was in the left rough amid some barren New England trees. He took a swing and we looked for his ball. And we looked and we looked and couldn't find it. Eventually he looked in the cup and there it was for an eagle! What luck. But I beat him anyway by a few strokes. If I had lost by one or two I would have been very angry. |

I was a 2 hdcp golfer and the club champ at my local
club a few years back...I've had 4 holes in one on regular courses....one of which was quite similar to Fuzzy's, it was right at the hole , landed on the collar behind the hole and juiced back in...absolutely lovely.. in my back yard that's about a hundred feet from the mat on the deck to the pin ...every time I hole out I ring the triangle next to the ball machine...it' gets noisy when I'm in the zone. bring it on Tiger.... |
