Sear & Roebuck Ice Cream Intros?
Anybody work the bandstand when suddenly you are asked to kick off a song that calls for a Sears & Roebuck or Ice Cream intro? Can someone explain what this is and put up some examples? How about you Leon Grizzard? Please only post if you know what I am talking about!! No jokes.

I am familiar with these progressions but it was the question of when someone calls out a Sears & Roebuck or Ice Cream, is there a certain pattern in the intro that would be used by the guitar player to kick off the tune? I know that lots of older standard country/swing tunes use the steel, fiddle or guitar to kick the tune off lets say by starting on the V back to the I or starting on the IV to the V then to the I or starting on the I to the V back to the I. I was just wondering if anyone else ever heard this reference on the bandstand.Redd mentions something in his Stolen Licks video about 5511 or some type of pattern, is this the same as Sears Roebuck or Ice Cream intros? How about it Redd?
