New Mike Campbell interview in Premier Guitar

http://digital.premierguitar.com/pre...0804/?folio=50

I thought that the stuff about his amps was particularly interesting.

I saw him at Jones Beach 6 - 8 years ago and remember thinking that he had the best live tone I'd ever heard. He seemed to play a different guitar every song and had a wall of different amps behind him.

FWIW, the dreds look ridiculous and HAVE to go.

I like the part where he explains that the Vox Super Beatle Amps are primarily window dressing, and that the real wall of sound is behind them. They also showed a couple of nice shots of his 50's Broadcaster.

Tommy G. gives good interview. I'm surprised he's not a member here.
