..."My World and Welcome to It"...
...anyone remember this '60's TV show???...I thought I may have asked this before, and I reviewed my earlier posts, but nope,didn't...it starred William Windom...it featured the drawings and words of James Thurber...I know I can probably google to find out if the series is available anywhere, but I'm asking here to see if anyone has knowledge...

I remember it quite well, as it introduced me to Thurber, whose writing is some of my favorite stuff! I haven't thought of it in about 35-40 years, though!
Cheers, Tim

...yep,that's it!!!...
...I especially love the line in the ''Dinosaur and Man" segment, where man says,"...god moves in mysterious and inefficient ways..."...well,might that show be considered complex or what???...Thurber must have had a serious problem with the "great unwashed"...I'd love to find DVd's of the show...there was a reference to a website classics2dvd.com...I wonder if they're legal...

...Randy,I just havn't a clue...
...as I was never a fan of the band, which may ruffle the feathers of some of the intelligensia that worships their particular defecations...knickers twisted???...hey,the playing was great, but,at the time of their emergence, I generally didn't like the attitude of some of the fans of the band,so I have a strong resistance to the music...I've often wondered if Horace Silver ever got money for the musical reference to "Song For My Father" from the intro to "Ricky Don't Lose That Number"...probably not,'cause it's an arrangement, but as I said,I've often wondered...
