New Black Crowes album

I got the New Black Crowes album 3 days ago. Its way better than I thought it was gonna be. People kept comparing it to 3 snakes & a Charm. Sorry, but I don't hear that at all.

Its definitely Country influenced. Lots of great Slide guitar by New member: Luther dickinson - from the North Mississippi Allstars. THis is my favourite thing I've heard him do so far.
You can tell the guys are getting older & a little more mature. Great songs. makes me think of some Good Ry cooder albums. Probably nothing on here will get played on the radio...buts its a great listen. Gets my vote for album of the year, So FAR.

haven't heard anything off it yet, but looking forward to it. sadly enough, the mention of this music probably not getting airplay sparks my interest even more. seems everything i like lately gets no airplay.

Great album. I could see Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution getting some airplay if it isn't already.

My wife picked it up for me today...I really dig it.

The past two studio albums, By Your Side and Lions, really had to grow on me, unlike the first four albums. But this one seems pretty good right off the bat.

I must admit, I'm a huge Marc Ford fan, and I found myself comparing Luther's work to what I could imagine Marc playing...but it's still good work.
