So I went CD shopping today...

I had a gift card to get rid of, so I went off to the mall and came home with Nirvana's Unplugged and Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life.

Anyone else go hunting this weekend?

Not in the weekend, but last week I got 19 CD's:

Liszt Hungarian Rhapsodies by Arthur Fagen and Staatskapelle Weimer

Schubert Complete Symphonies by Claudio Abbado and The Chamber Orchestra Of Europe

Mozart's Violin Concertos by Frank Peter Zimmermann

Dave Specter: Live in Europe

and finally, but not least:

El Dorado by our very own James (WickedGTR)Wilsey

Phil Brown's Jimi Project. He covers 12 Hendrix songs and plays guitar like Jeff Beck. The guy is a tremendous player.

Excellent choices! I picked up Warpaint too. Also got House on Fire - Tom Principato, The Lost Crowes - Black Crowes (double cd only 3.99!), Ghost Repeater - Jeffrey Foucault, and Mofro - Country Ghetto. Almost forgot, the new Drive By Truckers too.

Just picked up Susan Tedeschi live in Austin texas

and Buddy Guy Bring Em In

Hey that's an All Telecaster Purchase!! (OK, at least Susan is. Buddy is just holding a 72 on the cover....)

Susan gets a 7 on 10. OK but will likely get forgotten.

Buddy gets a solid 10 with help from Santana, John Mayer, Keef and others!!
