Need some friends lol

Hi guys .
I noticed you chaps have been using myspsce , Soundclick etc so today I set one up for myself to store some home recordings .
I'm currently looking like a Billy no mates there though , as my friends list at Soundclick currently reads zilch
I've uploaded some recent stuff , and a few tracks that are very old to say the least , and will put some more stuff up as I get chance .

Would appreciate a little support and comments there and possibly find a few friends here

All the best

Flats

Since getting involved with MySpace, I've almost totally neglected my soundclick page. I've used it mostly to put up things that I want to share with friends, such as the "TDPRI Boogie", which is still there. That was just a side by side comparison of two different Telecasters. Also, when I uploaded "Soundcheck Boogie" so that I could demonstrate the tone of my B1uesboy amp, it went to #11 on the Blues chart! I certainly didn't intend for THAT to happen! I kinda use soundclick as my trash dump, as you can see.

Edited to add:

I just snooped around there for a minute and I didn't see any kind of "add" for a friends list. They used to do that didn't they??? Anyhoo, I really enjoyed your take on "Harlem Nocturne" while I was there! Nice job!

I added you to my friends list, you're the second! I added you on the strength of listening to Harlem Nocturne. Great playing, I've loved that song since I heard Danny Gatton do it.

Thanks guys .
Can't see any extra friends on my site yet , but i'm sure they'll show eventually
I should have stayed clear of Timothy's site .
It reminded me I used to be a Blues player , so I had no option but to pick up my guitar an hour ago and chill
Just posted the result on the site so hope you like it .

...and here I thought you were looking for bodyguards! I guess you haven't been roughed up by that guy from the traffic incident.

Nice playing!

Cheers, Tim

Hey thanks Rick .
Hearing you say that is really good .
To be honest , I don't no squat about home recording , and everything is a real challenge to me at the moment , but it's nice to get up and running .

Guys , you won't believe this but one of my songs has already gotten to number 16 in the film charts

If that's down to you guys , then sincere thanks .

http://www.soundclick.com/genres/cha...latest200=true

I'm slightly confused My song appears to be at number 1 , but that's impossible , as I only posted it today

Can someone explain to me how this site works ?

It seems Harlem Nocturne is currently ar number 2 in the blues covers also lol

OK - friend request sent.

How the site works? I think it goes by which song gets the most plays. You've had a lot of us listening to you today so we probably drove you up the charts!

Don't forget us while you're up there on top!

The charts positions are based on the amount of web hits your songs recieve. I think in order to qualify as a web hit, the listener must listen for more than one minute. Probably all generated from this post and your post on twanger.

Or to sum it up quicker ezactly like Trag said.
