That is some weird lookin' guitar, but it'd be great for some kind of weird band like a Straitjackets tribute band or something.
Speaking of weird, I was in the local guitar shop (the one that sadly is very nearby so I regularly get drawn in to make impulse purchases) and what did I see? I saw one of those Behringer IAXE guitars on sale for just $15. I didn't grab it, but I may go back and get it simply because I could probably sell it on Craigslist for $50 or $60. I played one once and it was okay. Sounded passable and while the fret ends were a little rough, for a low-end starter electric guitar, it'd be a good deal. At one time, Behringer was getting $199 for the guitar alone. Today, because they've been discontinued, you can get the bundle that includes the guitar and amp and I forget what else for $99. Somebody must have wanted just the amp and so the store broke up the bundle, and now they just want to unload the guitar. |
