Which Case?

Ok, so I think I need a hardshell case for my CP50s Stratocaster. Which case do you all recommend? Does anyone have any good, bad, or indifferent experience with any of the cases below? Anything out there I should be looking at instead of these?

I'm not looking to tour or do lots of gigs with any of these, but instead looking to have something that will offer more protection than a gig bag.

There's the Fender rectangle tolex/tweed option. Any thoughts on the tolex v. tweed? Anyone have the brown?

Then there's the Gator ABS option, though I'm not crazy about the lack of a storage compartment.

Or maybe the SKB Economy ABS case? Or its big brother? Again, I'm not crazy about the lack of a storage compartment.

And then the last one on the list, the Gator wood and tolex.

I own and recommend the Gator ABS, and it actually has 2 storage compartments, they are just hard to see on the pictures. I like these cases because they are durable and affordable.

Look at the way the latches work. If they look strong the case should work fine.

I like the G&G tweed mosrly for its looks.

I have 2 MF cases....tweed and vintage brown.
For the money....I think they're pretty good.

Well I ended up getting the new Fender ABS. It looks a lot like the SKB ABS case. Apparently the GC in Atlanta doesn't stock the Tweed or Tolex Fender cases. They had this ABS that someone didn't want when buying a new Strat. They had a Tweed, but the manager wouldn't let me buy it (and it had some small rips, etc. in it anyway).

There's not a whole lot of extra storage space in the new ABS Strat case. The latches match and click tightly. They seem beefy. The guitar fits very snugly--no side to side movement and has support for the entire neck. Not bad for $100 considering the SKB is $120.
