New Parts Tele completed (maybe)
Here's some shots of my new parts caster which is finally finished, but then again maybe not! Originally I was going to have it as an Esquire type with only one pickup but it played so well that just wouldn't do. It's still tuned down one step from D to D but I'm putting on a set of Elixer 9-42 this afternoon and am going to start using it as my #1 gig guitar. I might install a set of Keith/Scruggs tuners later this afternoon but I'm not sure yet! Here's a list of what it's made of........
Fender Highway One Telecaster body. Warmouth old style Tele neck with vintage Kluson tuners. All Parts "pearl" pickguard. Joe Barden 3 piece intonatable bridge w/ brass saddles. Parsons/Green B-bender, the one that HipShot sells on their site. Installed by Brian Friend in California. Neck Pickup....Seymore Duncan quarter pounder Strat pickup. Bridge Pickup....Seymore Duncan Hot Rails Tele lead pickup which is connected to a small 3 way switch between the volume & tone control which has the following settings: normal humbucking/tapped/both coils in series. Fender control plate which has been reversed. Volume pot is a pull type that gives you an out of phase sound when both pickups are on. Also the 3 position mini switch which works on the rear pickup adds additional out of phase sounds so you get three different ones. Old bass guitar bridge cover over the bender pulling hub.........JH in Va.

Eh, Vato,
You did a great job on that one! I should never have let that neck and body go! The cover for the pull string is slick and the pick guard worked out real well. I like to play that on myself! Jack
