Very nice work, Brian. How does the Hipshot version of the PG compare to the original ? Supposedly they were going to "improve" it....

Are you missing the switch on that guitar?...or it is a one setting esquire?....in any event it looks cool

It's basically the same as the original with some different materials. I've been speaking with Dave Borisoff and there really is a new improved version coming out. I'm trying to get one soon...Keep ya posted on it..

Looks good. Brian- is this any more cost effective than a Bill Bores P/W style unit?

Brian-
Looks like someone is using your photos for an ebay auction and I am not sure if it is with your permission:

Great job Brian..............

I just got back last night from my motor trip across country to California and went into the garage this morning and put the neck back on the guitar, strung it up, and started checking it out..........

Brian, the installation job is flawless. It's just like the guitar came from the factory with the bender installed. It works great and stays in tune very well. The guitar will be tuned a whole step flat so It'll be D G C F A D (low to high) That said I guess you'd call it an "A Bender" guitar.

It's actually a Highway One Telecaster with the neck pickup and toggle switch removed. It has a Joe Barden bridge plate and an Esquire 3-ply pickguard. The pickup is a Texas Special and the neck is a Warmouth large radius with Kluson vintage tuners. I covered the toggle switch slot with a Fender logo cut from an add in Musician's Friend magazine.

It sounds wonderful just plugged straight into the amp with no effects or anything so I might have to change it back to standard tuning later on so I'll be able to use it more. I'll post a full shot of it when I get my camera unpacked. Thanks again Brian, great job!........JH in Va.

Here's the guitar all put back together and..........

it plays like a dream. The bender works beautifully and the action is great. This could become my main axe with very little persuasion. Here are some shots I took this morning.............JH in Va.
