Rich Rice b-bender ~ WOW !

I just got my new Tele (with a Bill Bores PW bender installed) from Rich Rice. I could not be more pleased & satisfied. The instrument is better than I anticipated.

Rich is "at the top of his game" ... a great guy & a pleasure to deal with. His attention to detail throughout the process assured me when I received the instrument, I would be satisfied. Well, I am more than satisfied. This guitar is along the lines of the boutique makers, such as Don Grosh or Tom Anderson, but with a bender.

Check out the Tele on his website http://www.ricecustomguitars.com/

Look under the gallery & mine is #71 ... the white/tortoise guard/rosewood board.

Dang you did get yourself one fine, fine guitfiddle! And I agree with you. Rich - and Chris for that matter - are both great guys to deal with. Congrats to you, and thank you for supporting American Craftsmen and Artists with your purchase and your post!

I appreciate the kind words, but can't claim that it was all my doing. Without Chris' workmanship, and Bill Bores' fine mechanism, this guitar couldn't have been built. Working with you has been a pleasure.

Cool.........I'm waiting to take delivery on Rice B-Bender # 64, which is presently en route.

Great guys to deal with, good communication. Rich has a million great stories. Both are very accommodating.

Received the Rice T-caster......(see Rice gallery#064)

Amazing guitar....Huge Neck....Sustains for hours...superb fit and feel...but best of all, incredible tone:

....easily the most articulate guitar I've ever owned....amazing string seperation....complex harmonics....great clean and great grit....plus it has a smooth short-pull Bill Bores B- bender, that works flawlwssly.

.....all the gushing cliche-adjectives I always read about in other guitar reviews, actually apply to this instrument.

Rice #064: 3 years later .......

The honeymoon is long since past, and I gotta say that this is my favorite single guitar of all-time. This Bender-Tele is definitely "the keeper". Sold all my other guitars (except for the '57 ES-120 given to me by my sis-in-law).

That's what I like to hear!

Click the pic for the rest of my pictures:

And RobKitt's bender:

Wow, my photography has improved over the years. Any chance of better pictures from you guys? I love to see how they've aged.
