where do you buy the b- bender hardware

i want to install one but i dont know where to buy the hardware from. If dont want to spend a lot either. Under 200 or 150 if possible.

I think in that price range you are talking Hipshot bender.

They don't get a lot of talk here- but they do work pretty well. And much easier to install. I love mine.

I don't know of anyplace where you can get one at your price point. If you are good with mechanical stuff, you might want to study pictures and try to build your own...

another vote here for the much maligned Hipshot, especially in your price range...don't know of any internal bender to be found and installed for less than $600 or so....find someone close to your area that has a Hipshot before you completely deep-six the idea...they ain't toys or beginner systems at all; very sturdy, and you can end up with a B/G dual bender for under $200 that requires absolutely NO mutilation to your guitar....good luck...cheers

To state the obvious:

You could look on Craigslist or Ebay for a used one. You could also follow the FAQ link (at the Hipshot link above) to find a pdf with complete installation instructions.

one question.

the FAQ link shows the b bender with a metal plate on the back. I want the one that is clear, Does it matter one one you use?
