friend of shuggie1
Just a note to say hello. I am a long time friend of Shuggie1. We always had guitars and music and guitars in common I used to do wiring and some guitar work for him. He was always tring to get me to learn how to put a bender in(I have built neck through guitars, wound pick-ups,built a couple amps. Anyway to make a long story short I was a strat guy for years, fell on hard times and sold them all and all I had left was a tele. I fell in love with it and made them my main axes. Just before Dan passed away I started to want to put a bender in one of my teles(I have 3 now) and never got a chance to talk to him about it. So when he died I started to come here to read posts and look for info on benders(he always talked about this forum fondly). I hope you guys accept me I am new to benders but have listened endlessly to dan talk about them so maybe I have a little head start.......Brian
